Just out for a jog, well not really but yea. Today we had our Terry Fox run and the weather was just fabulous for it. We walked down a near road and then came back for a BBQ.

A Flower From The Sun~Day 6~

A sunflower follows the sun, just as I should follow God and His will for me. Lately I've really been wanting to start of the youth group in town and now that I'm possibly not going to be skating I have a chance to do that. Hopefully I'll get everything up and running by early/mid October.

a.p.p.l.e.p.i.e. ~Day 5~

So today we made around 612 pies in around 5 hours with about 30 people. Amazing eh? That's what I thought. We started at 8 am and finished all the pies by 1 and clean up by 2. I was a pincher, it's a pretty important job you know. We had an apple pealing and cutting, spicing and mixing, rolling out bottoms, putting the mixed apples in, rolling out tops and putting them on, cutting off extra and pinching, AND a labeling and bagging stations. It was lots of fun (Well I had fun). The pies just kept coming in waves, at one point we would have twelve pies on the table and then we would have only two.

This is what patience looks like in Beau BEFORE you bring out a treat. Once you bring it out, he's rolling around and talking like fool! But I still love him, even though he doesn't sit still or where I ask him to. He's about 8 years old and is a mix of some kind. Beau was the chubby puppy of the batch but he turned out to be quite a handsome fellow.

Not So Mellow Yellow ~Day 2~

The color yellow just makes everything so much more happy and joyful. I pick this picture today because today was a great day, minus a headache. Today made me feel free and uplifted. The land was shining with bright September sun and gorgeous yellow fall trees and to make it better there was a clear blue sky.
